For the new generation who know absolutely nothing about Lonesome Dove: The Outlaw, let us enlighten you. It was a western drama TV show that was a part of the Lonesome Dove: The Series. The series started in 1994 and revolves around the adventurous stories of the main star of the show Scott Bairstow who plays Newt Call. Eric McCormack plays the criminal Col. Francis Clay Mosby, a rival to Newt.
And the Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds appears on an episode entitled Redemption in 1995.
The show was produced by Robert Halmi Jr. and Suzanne de Passe under the Telegenic Programs Inc. and RHI entertainment and associated with a Canadian TV network. However, the show wasn’t really popular and Lonesome Dove: The Outlaw only has 22 episodes.
