For Millennials. By Millennials.
Whether you like them or hate them, you cannot avoid Trisha Paytas. Since 2013, they have ruled the world of YouTubers. It would not be wrong to say that they have a superpower to sniff out the controversies. After establishing their place in the A-list YouTubers, they have decided to spread awareness about ‘important’ issues. Recently, they made a video in support of Karens, saying that they are also humans.
Interestingly, their trademark among influencers is that they have been in more feuds than anyone else
From posting personal vlogs to Mukbangs, Trisha Paytas has been entertaining for years. However, she is not limited to only YouTube videos. Her career includes a variety of jobs like appearing in music videos and doing side roles in various films. It was their opinionated vlogs that caught the attention of people. At one point, Trisha Paytas also expressed their desire to be a chicken nugget. However, it is their feuds with various people which really get the spotlight. Their fight with Ethan Klein and his family is still fresh in the viewer’s mind. Interestingly, they are engaged to his brother-in-law, Moses.
Recently, Trisha Paytas started making awareness based videos
In their latest video titled Angry Karen Attacks, Paytas talks about being kind and not jumping to conclusions. Throughout the video, a lady dressed as a true Karen roams around the neighborhood and a store. She throws tantrums, accuses others of hurting her, and being rude to others. When Trisha Paytas tried to help her, she dismisses her. In the end, we find out that the woman actually has dementia. The video ends with a message from Paytas who says:
Things are not always as they seem. There are some Karens who need to be off the streets. That’s for sure. But there are some Karens that are simply untreated and unwell. So fight unkindness with kindness. Respect the elders. They’re from a different generation. And yes, it is our job to educate and grow them. But sometimes they’re also our parents and we simply need to take care of them. And those Karens are not your moms, you need to take care of them as well. Treat them as if they were your mother, father or nonbinary parent.
Although Trisha Paytas tried to share an essential message, it seems that they missed the mark. Saying that the video is cringe-worthy is an understatement.
