Indeed, internet feuds are over within a day. Just a few days back, Lil Nas X was going viral with his ‘nah he tweakin’ comment about Tony Hawk. According to him, the internet discriminated against him and treat Hawk differently. Both artists had launched controversial products, infused with their blood. However, it seems that there is no bad blood (pun intended) between the two. Recently, they both were seen collaborating in a TikTok video.
For reasons unknown, Lil Nas X and Tony Hawk have launched products infused with their blood
Earlier this year, Old Town Road singer teamed up with MSCHF to revamp Nike Air Max 97. The shoes were infused with a small amount of Lil Nas X’s blood mixed with red ink. In order to give a clearer message, there were only 666 pairs made. However, the campaign backfired and Lil Nas X received major backlash. Similarly, Nike filed a lawsuit against MSCHF and the sales halted.
A few days back, Tony Hawk teamed up with Liquid Death and launched 500 skateboards that had his blood mixed with the paint.
This campaign reignited Montero singer’s anger towards the internet. He claimed that people discriminated against him. Meanwhile, no one bat an eye over Hawk’s campaign. In a tweet, he said:
now that tony hawk has released skateboards with his blood painted on them, and there was no public outrage, are y’all ready to admit y’all were never actually upset over the blood in the shoes? and maybe u were mad for some other reason?
At the same time, Industry Baby singer made a comment which blew up the internet
When the news of Tony Hawk’s blood skateboards came out, Lil Nas X quickly commented. On one of the Instagram posts, he commented:
Nah he tweakin
Instantly, the comment went viral and people did not miss a chance to make memes. For a couple of days, everywhere you looked on the internet, this comment was there. However, it started to fade away after just a day. Obviously, memes are forever!
After just a few days, Lil Nas X and Tony Hawk came together and broke the internet again
In a TikTok video, the two artists are seen at a skating ramp. While holding Tony Hawk’s controversial skateboard, Lil Nas X informs the viewers that he will be doing some tricks, maybe McTwist. After that, the camera cuts to Hawk and he does all the tricks. Then the camera again cuts to Lil Nas X who says:
And that’s how you skateboard.
In the background, Hawk can be heard who says:
The video is their way of poking fun at each other and the internet. It’s always good to see celebrities resolving their feuds in a fun way. Maybe Lil Nas X and Tony Hawk can collaborate on a new project.
