There’s little doubt in saying that Joe Rogan‘s The Joe Rogan Experience podcast is the biggest podcast in the world. Not only that, but it’s one of the few platforms where people like Alex Jones as well as Bernie Sanders can appear at the same time. It’s rare to find anyone who would turn down the opportunity to appear on such a massive platform. However, Dr DisRespect is one of them. In a recent stream, the YouTuber/streamer said he would turn down The Joe Rogan Experience podcast if presented with the opportunity.
Ever since Joe Rogan made his podcast a Spotify exclusive, he received a lot of criticism from fans. However, that did not stop him from still receiving millions of views on every episode. His podcast is just too big to fail. But apparently, that is still not enough for Guy ‘Dr Disrespect’ Beahm to be persuaded. He said live on-stream that he would turn down any chance to go talk on that podcast.
As Dr Disrespect was interacting with his viewers through chat, one of the viewers asked him if he would ever accept an invitation to appear on Joe Rogan’s podcast, he said he wouldn’t without even a moment of hesitation. He then proceeded to say:
Joe Rogan calls and gives you a crisp invite? Probably not. I’m telling you, man. There’s a reason. If I’m going to go on a podcast, I’m going to go on a podcast my way. And that might require additional resources and funding, okay?
Dr DisRespect is not the only YouTuber to shun Joe Rogan
It looks like Dr DisRespect had more of an issue with the environment than Joe Rogan himself. And that is understandable. However, he is far from being the only YouTuber to turn down Joe Rogan. Hasan ‘HasanAbi’ Piker also previously explained why he wouldn’t go on the podcast, saying:
The real reason why Joe Rogan will never have me on is because, like I said, I’ve criticized him too much. It’s just the truth.
However, with Dr Disrespect, it is possible that he makes a podcast of his own. And then, under the right circumstances, we could see him have a long and interesting chat with Joe Rogan, But for now, that doesn’t seem likely.
