Tamera Mowrey-Housley Confirmed Her Niece Was Victim of Thousand Oaks Shooting
The 90’s fame, Sister- Sister actress, Tamera Mowry-Housley, mournfully confirmed that her niece Alaina Housley became the victim of the Wednesday mass gun shooting at the Borderline Bar and Grill.
Why Tamera Mowrey-Housley Niece Went To The Bar
Alaina is a freshman at Pepperdine University (Housley’s alma mater). Two days ago, the young girl went to the Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand Oaks, California. Borderline Bar and Grill was hosting its weekly college night on Wednesday.
Unfortunately, the worst mishap occurred at the bar that night. Without any notice, a gunman entered the bar and opened random fire inside the hall.
How Aliana Became The Victim of Borderline Bar and Grill Gunshoot
Police confirmed that Ian David Long (28), opened fire at the Thousand Oaks dance bar. The gunman killed 12 people, including a sheriff’s deputy and himself. The poor niece of Tamera was among those 12 innocent people.
The gunman reportedly injured 15 persons. In fact, there were about 60 people at the bar at the time of the shooting.
Ventura County Sheriff Geoff Dean explained that the investigation is in process and it is unclear why the brutal gunman has executed the shooting..
Appallingly, in just less than 15 days, this is the second mass shooting in the U.S.
Fifteen days ago, a gunman shot 11 people to death at a synagogue in Pittsburgh on Oct 27.
Tamera Mowrey-Housley Loves Her Niece:
Tamera Mowrey-Housley and her husband Adam mournfully released a joint statement on Thursday.
“Our hearts are broken. Alaina was an incredible young woman with so much life ahead of her and we are devastated that her life was cut short in this manner. We thank everyone for your prayers and ask for privacy at this time.”
Later, Adam, shared a grievance from the niece’s parents, Arik and Hannah Housley,
“Words can’t describe our grief after losing our daughter, Alaina. She was everything we could hope for in a child: kind, smart, beautiful and respectful.”
In addition, the couple wrote that Alaina would want to “be respectful with an eye toward solving these senseless shootings.”
