Brace yourselves, because the OG reality tv queen, Paris Hilton, is bringing a brand new show. Although it is hard to believe, her latest tv venture is a cooking show called Cooking with Paris. It will be released in August on Netflix. Among others, Kim Kardashian will be guest starring with her long-time bestie.
In case you were wondering, the show is inspired by Paris Hilton herself
During quarantine last year, Hilton decided to teach us how to cook lasagna. Therefore, she made a video of the process and post on her YouTube channel. Although the recipe itself was nothing unusual, Paris Hilton making it added a little pizzazz. At the same time, she brought her charm and glamour to the kitchen. Her cooking video got her 5 million views and her own cooking show deal with Netflix.
On surface Cooking with Paris is about making food, but it is much more than that
While she will be experimenting with new recipes and ingredients, that is not the only thing on the menu. In order to help her through this new journey, Paris Hilton will be accompanied by a variety of guests. The long list includes her mom, Kathy Hilton, sister, Nicky Hilton, celebrities like Demi Lovato, Saweetie, comedian Nikki Glaser and YouTuber Lele Pons. The trailer of the show features Hilton and her guests in the spacious kitchen where the magic happens with few mishaps here and there. Meanwhile, her guests give their own expertise while tasting Hilton’s masterpiece dishes.
The highlight of the trailer is seeing Hilton’s bestie and fashion goddess, Kim Kardashian
Right after the trailer came out, the excitement levels rose. The reason behind it was Kim Kardashian making a special appearance on the show. At the same time, people will see two megastars together on screen after a long time. In case you were not aware of their history, Paris and Kim have known each other for decades. Back in early 2000s, Kim used to be Hilton’s assistant and very close friend. However, their friendship was badly hit when Hilton made a snarky remark about Kim’s butt, saying it looked like a “cottage cheese stuffed in a trash bag”. After that, they parted ways and focused on their own lives. However, Kim and Paris Hilton reconciled again in 2014.
Cooking with Paris is coming to Netflix on August 4. I, for one, will be binge watching it.
