The question is, how did you imagine Draco Malfoy to look like in the future back in the Harry Potter days? In case, you did not have a particular picture in mind back then, then I suppose that you might just perceive him to look at least similar to what he looked like back then. Well so here is the shocking news. Tom Felton is now a far cry from the good old Draco Malfoy. In fact, he is almost unrecognizable. The 31-year-old appeared on UK show Good Morning Britain looking worlds away from his child star past.

The actor now sports grandma sized specs over his blue eyes. His hair are also not around any light blonde hue. In fact, the actor has a sharp golden mop over his forehead, which he settles in a man bun. Much unlike the Draco Malfoy bowl cut. The actor also has facial hair now.

Tom Felton says,

“Obviously, yeah, it has changed my life beyond recognition. But at the same time, I don’t really see myself as a Harry Potter star. I only feel like that when I sit here and get questions (about) that.”

Tom Felton joined the Harry Potter franchise when he was only 14. He continued his association with the lucrative merchandise until he was 23.

Harry Potter Wasted The Childhood Of Its Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton)

Unlike several Harry Potter actors, Tom Felton has some regrets about his association with the magnum project. He is remorseful that he invested the golden days of his childhood in his pursuit of professional success. Tom Felton credits Harry Potter for what he is today. But at the same time he strongly feels that he would have been much happier if he had done the things the kids of his age typically did back then. Felton feels that his childhood got wasted in his years of hard work.

Liberty For Tom Felton

Felton talked about his changed appearance too.  He said

“For the past decade we haven’t had much freedom to do other projects. I certainly haven’t had much freedom to keep my own hair color, or lay in the sun, or do anything remotely dangerous like skiing.”

These days; however, the actor is on a roll as he can finally look like how he wants to look. He can experiment, and even not care about a particular look.

Tom Felton has also starred in the Rise of The Planets of Apes and CW’s The Flash
