There’s been an injury on the set of ‘The Flash’ movie
The shooting of ‘The Flash’ movie is still going on but looks like it has hit a minor inconvenience. A Warner Bros. spokesperson released a statement recently, saying there has been an injury on the set of the movie but luckily nobody was badly hurt. The accident occurred while shooting a stunt.
The shooting of The Flash has been going on for a while now. Warner Bros. revealed that the movie is all set to be released on November 4, 2022, and fans are excited. It’s one of seven live-action DC Comics adaptations and it’s supposed to blow people’s minds away. Warner Bros. hasn’t released any trailers or teasers yet, but hopefully, they’ll keep the momentum they got from Zack Snyder’s Justice League alive and deliver on this movie too. Ezra Miller is going to be starring as the Flash, alongside Ben Affleck in the movie. Another interesting piece of news is that we will also be seeing Michael Keaton in the movie, and he’ll be donning the role of Batman as well. I guess after waiting for so long, DC has finally entered their multiverse phase.
Andy Muschietti is the filmmaker of The Flash and he will be carrying the project over the finish line. Moreover, Christina Hodson is the screenwriter of the movie who previously did a great job with the Transformers spin-off movie Bumblebee. According to the news, the movie will explore the “idea of the multiverse, one of the core concepts underpinning DC Comics”.
The Flash studio confirms that there was an injury on the set
In the past few days, behind-the-scenes pictures of stunt doubles have been going around the internet. There was also a rumor going around that a crew member got hurt during this shooting. Warner Bros. thought the best thing to do right now is to give out a statement. The studio confirmed that an accident did happen in Glasgow but nobody was seriously hurt. A spokesperson for the movie studio told Variety:
An accident occurred while filming The Flash, where thankfully nobody was seriously hurt. The crew member involved received immediate medical attention as a matter of protocol
The spokesperson also said that the well-being of their employees is very important for them, adding that they have strict health and safety procedures in place on all productions. The injured crew member was a camera operator and he collided with Batman’s motorcycle. The cameraperson was on a motorcycle filming a scene when he collided. An eyewitness told the outlet:
The camera man on a bike was chasing the Batman motorbike and went under it.
