Two days ago, the world got the harrowing news of the hospitalization of Bob Odenkirk. The actor collapsed on the set of AMC’s Better Call Saul and was rushed to the hospital. Since then, there were a lot of rumors floating around due to the lack of any information leaving the hospital. However, fans can now breathe a sigh of relief as it has been revealed that Odenkirk is now in stable condition.
Bob Odenkirk hospitalized as fans panic
The shooting of the final season of the Breaking Bad prequel series was taking place in Albuquerque, New Mexico when the 58-year-old collapsed. Afterward, Bob Odenkirk was hospitalized after the crew called an ambulance. So far, it has been revealed that he was hospitalized due to a “heart-related” condition.
As soon as news broke out, several celebrities and Odenkirk’s co-stars from Breaking Bad wished him well and a speedy recovery. However, their words did get people confused that maybe Odenkirk was in a lot more grave condition than initially expected. Aaron Paul shared a picture of the actor on Instagram, with the caption:
I love you my friend.
Similarly, Bryan Cranston also wrote some affectionate words for Odenkirk on Instagram. He revealed at the time how the public doesn’t know of his condition and requested his fans to pray for him:
Today I woke up to news that has made me anxious all morning. My friend, Bob Odenkirk collapsed last night on the set of Better Call Saul. He is in the hospital in Albuquerque and receiving the medical attention he needs but his condition is not known to the public as yet. Similarly, Lesley Goldberg also tweeted about the lack of information for the public on the matter. And this really worried a lot of fans, as the tweet read:

After these distressing updates, everyone breathed a sigh of relief when fans got an update from the hospital. The legal representative of Bob Odenkirk told The Wrap that the actor’s condition is stable and that he had a heart problem. Furthermore, he thanked everyone who acted swiftly during the ordeal, saying:
We can confirm Bob is in stable condition after experiencing a heart-related incident. He and his family would like to express gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, as well as his cast, crew and producers who have stayed by his side. The Odenkirks would also like to thank everyone for the outpouring of well wishes and ask for their privacy at this time as Bob works on his recovery.
Later on, Nate Odenkirk, his son, also confirmed that his father is “going to be okay,” tweeting:
Bob Odenkirk has received a tremendous amount of love in this troubling time, and it is largely because of his legendary performance in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul as Jimmy McGill/ Saul Goodman and has received four Emmy nominations for his role. His performance has been instrumental for AMC in increasing the valuation of the Breaking Bad franchise, as it remains amongst Sony’s most coveted properties.
