Eddie Redmayne Tells Ellen He’s Desperate for ‘Sleeping Spell’
Eddie Redmayne tell in Ellen interview that he needs a Sleeping Spell for newborn son Luke
Eddie Redmayne came out to The Ellen Show to promote new movie, Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindlewald. During the interview, he told Ellen that he needs a Sleeping Spell. He has found it hard to sleep since the birth of his son Luke. People have been telling him to use gin instead for going to sleep.
Ellen Congratulates Eddie As New Dad
Eddie Redmayne made an appearance on The Ellen Show. Ellen hosted the British Actor with a warm heart as always. She talked about Eddie’s family and congratulated him on the birth of his son ‘Luke’.
It was like a follow-up interview. Eddie also appeared on The Ellen Show two years ago when his daughter Iris had been born. Ellen and Eddie talked about how Iris was not sleeping. He said that he was walking around like he was jet lagged all the time.
It seemed so nice that Eddie returned two years later. And what a coincidence that he recently welcomed a little baby boy named Luke recently. It also seemed befitting that Ellen brought up if Luke was sleeping or not.
Eddie Redmayne is Desperate for a Sleeping Spell
Things have not changed in the Redmayne household. Eddie reported that Iris who is two and half years old and Luke, eight months old; are not sleeping. He said,
“I’ve been promoting Fantastic Beasts, and people keep going, ‘What spell would you dream of doing?’ And I’m like, ‘Literally just a two-hour sleep spell.’ People suggest gin… I haven’t gone there yet,”
Ellen asked while the crowd laughed;
“For you or the baby?”
Eddie laughed out and replied;
Talking About Fantastic Beasts:’Crimes of Grindlwald’
Ellen asked Eddie about the new movie, Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindlewald. Eddie joked that the cast has expanded like his family. He told Ellen that Johnny Depp is playing Grindlewald and Jude Law is playing Dumbledore. They also talked about the elaborate sets that he worked on during the movie. He told the tale of the ‘pretend stairs’ while walking next to River Seine. Eddie acted out the whole part in his unique, goofy way which made everyone laugh.Ellen pointed out that it was ‘ridiculous’ that they didn’t build real steps and he agreed.
Eddie’s character, Newt Scamander will be set to track down the dark wizard, Gellert Grindlewald (Johnny Depp) by Dumbledore (Jude Law). He will be joined by his friend Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler) and Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston) and his fantastic creatures on his mission. Ezra Miller and Alison Sudol are will reprise their roles. New cast members include Claudia Kim and Zoë Kravitz. Fantastic Beasts: Crime of Grindlewald will release in cinemas on 11th November, 2018.
