Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Take Custody Battle To Court

After two years of marriage, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie decided to split. In 2016, the actress filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. But the couple shares six children together- Maddox, 17, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10. So naturally, there has been an issue over who gets custody.Now, they have finally decided to take their custody battle into court for settlement. A December trial date has already been scheduled. And maybe that’s the way to put an end to their public feud.

‘Brangelina’ To Appear in Court Over Custody

The power couple which was once referred to as Brangelina is now into a messy public feud. It revolves around the custody of their children. Angelina requested physical custody of the kids. But Brad Pitt asked for joint legal and physical custody. Ever since then, all they did was bash each other in public and maybe, now a court trail is the most suitable decision in this custody battle.

A custody trial date for 4th December has been scheduled but a location has not been set yet. As per documents filed on Monday, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt extended the appointment of Judge Ouderkirk as a temporary judge through June 30. The retired Los Angeles judge will now determining all the pre-trial issues, requests and motions. As per documents, it will also preside over the custody trial.

Although sources inform that Brad Pitt has played all his parts as a father, Jolie claimed that he paid no meaningful child support. It has been clear that the two are unable to settle this custody battle for themselves. Rumors and reports that keep surfacing differ every single day. Some sources claim that the couple is trying to reconcile for these children while their public bashing of each other’s parenthood is apparent. So, let’s wait for the court to decide on who gets custody.
