While talking to Empire, Taika Waititi explained just how significantly different Thor 4 is going to be from anything in the Thor franchise. If you thought Ragnarok was a crazy film, then Love and Thunder will simply blow your mind. The Oscar-winning director said:

It’s very different from Ragnarok. It’s crazier. I’ll tell you what’s different. There’ll be far more emotion in this film, and a lot more love, and a lot more thunder. And a lot more Thor, if you’ve seen the photos.

Taika Waititi is doing everything he can to make sure Thor: Love and Thunder is as insane as possible

And Waititi is not the only one saying this. Previously, Chris Pratt also expressed just how crazy the movie is going to be. On an Instagram post, the Starlord actor from Guardians of the Galaxy said:

The film is gonna be batshit crazy off the wall funny and might also pull a heartstring or two. Lots of love, lots of thunder!

And the lineup of Thor: Love and Thunder echoes these sentiments as well. In the same interview, Taika Waititi also revealed the star-studded cast of Thor 4, and it is simply incredible. He said:

We’ve got five Oscar-winners in [Love and Thunder]. And I’m including myself in that list. Me, Matt Damon, Russell [Crowe], Christian [Bale], Natalie [Portman].

Simply put, it looks like fans are going to have their hands full on May 6, 2022, which is the release date of Thor 4. But, there’s some time until then. The shooting has already wrapped up and the movie is in post-production. So, any fears of COVID-19 affecting the movie are now gone. All fans have to wait for now is for Marvel and Waititi to do their remaining job and return to theatres to see a remarkable spectacle by the MCU once again.
