Britney Spears requested to remove her father from conservatorship. The judge denied Britney Spears‘ request on Wednesday.
Britney has been through so many troubles in her life. From her mental health crisis to her father owning her money, Britney fought every step of the way. Britney went through a mental health crisis back in 2008. This obviously did not impact her music career that much but her father thought that it was best to put her under conservatorship given her mental health. Britney Spears recently opened up about what she has been going through because of this conservatorship. She told the court the details of the conservatorship and presented a strong case for why it should be ended once and for all.
The details Britney shared with the court were absolutely horrible. Apparently, because of the conservatorship, she is not allowed to own her money or even go on a drive with her boyfriend without her father’s permission. Britney Spears is also not allowed to have a baby if she is under conservatorship. Britney also officially filed a petition to put an end to this conservatorship. Many celebrities have supported her during these rough times, with fans wishing her well as well and to live freely.
Judge denies Britney Spears’ request
Britney told the court what she has been going through because of this conservatorship. She said that her family has been using her money for 12 years. In a court hearing, she opened up about how she overworked without any breaks. She also told the court that she was not allowed to remove her birth control device. Furthermore, Britney told the court that all of these things were approved by her father so she does not want her father to be the head of conservatorship.
Britney filed a petition to remove her father from conservatorship but seems like the judge does not agree with Britney on this. Britney’s father also filed a petition on Tuesday in which he claimed that he only has his daughter’s best interests at heart. The judge has denied Britney Spears’ request to remove her father from conservatorship this Wednesday.
We hope that the judge sees what Britney has been going through and accepts her request once and for all.
