George R.R Martin confirmed the title of this Game of Thrones prequel on his blog. The writer announced that casting for The Long Night was in process now. The plot was scripted by Jane Goldman, and Naomi Watts will lead the forthcoming ensemble cast. But George R.R Martin also revealed that there could be more prequels for the show under discussion. He claimed that he couldn’t just tell the subject matter of those projects. He teased that,

Meanwhile, there are still a couple of other possible prequels in active development. I can’t tell you the subject matter of those projects, no, sorry, wish I could.

Recently, the Oscar-nominated Australian actress Naomi Watts was taken in on the cast of this Game of Thrones prequel. On his blog, Martin also welcomed the actress claiming that he could not just be more excited. Although a lot has not been shared about the other cast or the plot, we are sure that Jane Goldman will bring about an exciting adventure. She adapted Kingsman, The Woman In Black, and Kick-Ass for the big screen. These projects provide enough evidence to agree that the woman is unbelievably talented!

Currently, there are almost 5 spinoffs for the popular HBO season in process. But probably, none of them will be out till the final season of Game of Thrones premieres on the screens. And if you’re already not excited, you should be for it’s going to feature the biggest battle in entertainment history!
