After Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s drops Chrissy Teigen after Courtney Stodden Controversy

Another deal slipped through Chrissy’s hands when the extent of her cyberbullying scandal was made public. The very famous retail store Bloomingdale’s is the latest brand to end it’s partnership with Teigen. As there were some allegations of Chrissy Teigen bullying Courtney Stodden which made Bloomingdale’s cancel her deal. The retail store had a deal with Chrissy for their upcoming promotional event on the launch of their Manhattan store. The deal by pulled out by the retail brand. And the main reason was the “toxic press” that was surrounding the celebrity.

The rumors are that apparently, Chrissy Teigen was only a few hours away from closing the contract with Bloomingdale’s. The deal did not go through because of some resurfaced Twitter messages. The celebrity was involved in a controversy after a media personality Stodden claimed that Teigen Cyberbullied her years ago.

One insider at the Bloomingdale’s department store even shared this news with a media outlet:

There is no doubt that Teigen and her husband are famous celebrities. Before becoming a social media influencer, Teigen was a very renowned model. Then she started focusing on other things. Like writing a cookbook and sharing her famous recipes with the world. She loves cooking to such an extent that she even created her own line of cookware and kitchen items. Which you can easily find at Macy’s and Target.

What does Stodden have to say about this?

The things Teigen said hurt Stodden in a way which she can never really explain. Stodden shared in an interview:

She would not just publicly tweet about wanting me to take a ‘dirt nap’ but would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself. Things like, I can’t wait for you to die.

The celebrity sent out a tweet in which she apologized to her fans and Stodden and also took accountability for her actions. In this tweet, she says to the fans that she is ashamed and embarrassed by her behavior but that’s not even close to how she made Stodden feel. She further added:

Not a lot of people are lucky enough to be held accountable for all their past bullshit in front of the whole world
