‘Black Panther 2’ Title and Release Date Revealed!

After Chadwick Boseman’s tragic death, many were uncertain about the future of the Black Panther franchise. However, Marvel has found a way to continue forward with it, without the main man at the helm. Furthermore, they have also revealed that they won’t be replacing Boseman’s King T’Chala in future movies as well, to honor his legacy as an actor. Nonetheless, life must go on and Marvel has just released the official title as well as the release date for Black Panther 2!

Earlier, Marvel released quite a lengthy trailer on YouTube named “Marvel Studios Celebrates the Movies”. However, it was not your average trailer for several reasons. Firstly, it was three minutes long. Secondly, the first two minutes contained a send-off to Phase Three of the MCU, quipped with an audience reaction to Avengers: Endgame.

The rest of the trailer, however, is a massive lineup of all the Phase Four of the MCU, and it is lit. The revelation that definitely takes the cake is the title and release date of Black Panther 2. They revealed the movie’s name to be Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, with a release date of July 8th, 2022. Marvel is so committed to making up for the COVID-19 pandemic-related lack of content that they’re releasing 4 films in both 2021 and 2022. Furthermore, Marvel also gave us a first look at footage of Chloe Zhao’s The Eternals, with Gemma Chan as Sersi saying, “We’re the ones who changed everything”.

It’s been quite a long time since Marvel fans set their eyes on their favorite heroes, and Marvel indeed delivered. Here’s a list of all the movies in Phase Four along with their release dates in chronological order.
