During his deposition, Kevin Spacey performed a crazy song-and-dance number
It has been more than two years since Kevin Spacey put out that bizarre video on YouTube, labeled “Let Me Be Frank”. And many people believed that no one could be as creepy as Spacey was in those 3 minutes. However, it seems like Spacey himself has managed to somehow trump that video. According to reports, Spacey performed a crazy song-and-dance number in one of his recent depositions.
Kevin Spacey’s deposition was not deprived of his craziness
A new report on The Hollywood Reporter details Kevin Spacey’s sexual harassment and assault allegations and the legal proceedings that he is facing on multiple fronts. One of the cases mentioned is between Spacey and House of Cards production company Media Rights Capital. MRC is seeking millions of dollars in damages, which they claim the show suffered as a result of the allegations. According to them, Spacey’s allegations “diminished” the show’s value. However, the reports suggest that Spacey brought a counterclaim on the table.
This case also highlighted that Spacey once groped a production assistant from House of Cards in 2012. And Spacey is arguing that MRC was not “blind sighted” by his allegations because they had previously signed off on a settlement with the PA. The case has since been in the hands of an arbitrator since last year, but one of the recent proceedings got quite bizarre.
THR wrote that in a recent Kevin Spacey’s deposition, the actor demonstrated some bizarre behavior:
Like everything in the new bizarre world of Spacey, this legal proceeding turned surreal quickly. At one point during his deposition, Spacey sprung up from his seat and performed a song-and-dance number in the conference room.
And it’s quite strange, considering that this case will have the biggest financial ramifications for Kevin Spacey. In light of that, Spacey should ideally take this case more seriously than all the rest. Furthermore, Spacey also faces potential criminal charges in London, alongside a civil lawsuit from his sexual assault accuser. And through this monumental scandal, Kevin Spacey still releases bizarre videos every Christmas eve, portraying his creepy House of Cards character Frank Underwood in two of them.
Regardless, it looks unlikely that Spacey can ever make a comeback in Hollywood. As THR wrote:
On the acting front, there is little appetite in Hollywood to bring Spacey back.
