Hilarious Promo Promises Season 6 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Six months after the Fox cancellation and NBC pickup of the cop comedy- Brooklyn Nine-Nine, we have our first promo! That was devastating news for anyone who’s seen the show. Brooklyn Nine-Nine has definitely become an important part of our lives! The brief look into season 6 of the show is just as hilarious as we could expect. Although the promo is too short to actually reveal anything, but we could still move forward to speculate what’s happening. NBC has finally released a date for the season 6 premiere of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Until then, let’s just keep watching the promo to discover all the details we can make out! Meanwhile, if you’re a fan of Bojack Horseman, you might be excited about a hilarious meme that hinted at a cross-over for these two shows!
What Does The Season 6 Promo Reveal?
From the promo, we know that Andy Samberg is starring as the NYPD detective in the upcoming season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The 15 second clip released by NBC shows all the characters celebrating at the local watering hole in season 6. However, the promo does not do anything to tie up the dangling story lines from the last season’s finale. But even then it proves that the show is not missing a beat after all!
Last season’s final episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine saw Captain Ray Holt open an email which would reveal if he got the job of the police commissioner. But he didn’t share the news with other colleagues just then. It also featured the Murphy’s Law-stricken wedding of Jake Peralta and fellow detective Amy Santiago. From what we saw, it was a tragic comedy filled with errors that led to it being a quiet event at the City Hall. But what were they all celebrating? The wedding or Holt’s promotion. Or if possible, his exit?
Apart from Andy Samberg, Terry Crews, Stephanie Beatriz, Dirk Blocker and Joel McKinnon Miller and Chelsea Peretti are also starring. Sadly, Peretti won’t be hear for a full season 6. A few weeks ago, she announced that she won’t be doing the complete season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sorry, Gina fans. We feel your pain.
