Pirates Of The Caribbean Drops Johnny Depp From Upcoming Film

Pirates of the Caribbean are returning back to capture your sights yet again. This time; however, Captain Jack Sparrow will not get its portrayal in Johnny DeppPrimarily, some unknown sources have revealed that Disney has tied up with the writers behind Deadpool to discuss a Pirates of the Caribbean remake. Part of this consideration is due to the high box office collections of its five chain movies.

Pirates of the Caribbean To Return Without Johnny Depp

Jerry Bruckheimer is the new executive producer of the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean sequel. Unfortunately; however, Johnny Depp’s is out of consideration. Some valid sources have confirmed the news. Additionally, they state that the actor who has played Jack Sparrow for-years will not get his nest in the upcoming show.

Stuart Beattie, a scriptwriter for the movies, has further confirmed the exit of the 55-yFear-old actor. Scriptwriter Stuart Beattie confirmed the news in an interview and then revealed they will be overhauling the entire merchandise.

Stuart commented on Johnny Depp ‘s recent replacement:

I think he’s had a great run. Obviously, he’s made that character his own and it’s become the character he’s most famous for now.And kids all over the world love him as that character so I think it’s been great for him, it’s been great for us, so I’m just very, very happy about it.”

It is less likely that Disney would recast Johnny Depp in his role on Pirates of the Caribbean as they need something fresh this time. The producers want to come out of their conventional thematic characters. They are pondering on the concept of gender-swap for this character and are planning to introduce Female Jack Sparrow. On the contrary, a few reports claim that the reboot will cast a completely different sort of lead. He will still belong to the same world.

Who Is The New Jack Sparrow?

The Female Jack Sparrow has got 6-4, voting. Hence the makers are on a search for an apt face for a female Jack Sparrow. Emma Stone is the main face in consideration right now, and the makers will probably zero her for Pirates of the Caribbean remake. Scarlett Johansson and the Wonder Woman fame Gal Gadot are also next in queue. The male version is demanding Ewan McGregor at 12-1, followed by James Norton and Shia LaBeouf on 14-1.

Disney has reportedly met with writing duo Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Dead pool fame) to reboot the Pirates of the Caribbean. Right now the creative people are having their “early talks”.

Johnny Depp’s Last Stint On Pirates of the Caribbean

Johnny Depp ‘s last Pirates of the Caribbean was Dead Men Tell No Tales, back in 2017. It was the lowest performing film of the five films. However, The Pirates franchise is still a  golden egg as the first three sequels gave back $1 billion worldwide and the last also one didn’t go under $800 million.

Recently, the actor was in the news for having a lawsuit against him. And he also became real political at a panel for the movie Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald, where he said he wanted to impeach Trump.
