As she accepted the speech, she added a sweet thank you to her boyfriend Joe Alwyn and shared a cute little anecdote:
‘Joe, who is the first person that I play every single song that I write. And I had the best time writing songs with you in quarantine,’
The 63rd Grammy Awards took place at the Los Angeles Staples Center this Sunday. The show was socially distanced to cater to the pandemic era.
Taylor Swift also thanked Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively?!
Awh! During her acceptance speech, Taylor Swift also thanked James, Ines, and Betty. And all the Swifties know that is the code word for Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. James, Ines, and Betty are all the names of the couple’s children.
As Taylor Swift added in her acceptance speech:
‘I want to thank James, Ines, and Betty, who are the second and third people that I play every new song that I write. But mostly we just want to thank the fans, you guys met us in this imaginary world that we created and we can’t tell you how honored we are forever by this. Thank you so much, and thank you to the Recording Academy, we will never forget that you did this for us.’

Taylor Swift was nominated for a total of six nominations for ‘Cardigan’, ‘Exile’, and ‘Beautiful Ghosts’. Out of all the nominations, she only won the Best Album Award for ‘Folklore’. In 2010, she won the same award for her ‘Fearless’ album and then again in 2016 for her ‘1989’ album.
This was definitely a moment for the ladies as Beyonce also broke records by becoming the most Grammy awarded woman in the music industry. She won the award for Best R&B Performance for her song ‘Black Parade’.
