Zack Snyder’s ‘Justice League’ features Joker mimicking Jesus Christ

People have highlighted before that Jared Leto has a face that resembles the mainstream caricatures of Jesus Christ. But, it looks like Zack Snyder decided to let him adopt that look for his Justice League Cut. And now we got a chance to take a look at it!

Recently, Zack Snyder gave a very insightful interview to Vanity Fair, where he explained the journey to this Justice League, how he’s approaching the film and how personal it is, and most importantly, how he’s not making a single penny from this film. Furthermore, Snyder also opened up about how he dealt with his daughter’s death and how this Justice League is a tribute to her.

Then, we saw the return of Jared Leto’s Joker in the Snyder Cut. It’s a chance for the actor to redeem the disaster the Joker was in Suicide Squad. But, then we saw clips of Leto’s character posing as Jesus. He even had a crown of thorns on top of his head. Here’s take a look:

Now, we don’t know for sure if Zach Snyder actually included this scene in the movie or not. It feels more like he was trying to make the joker look more like the antichrist. But just imagine the Joker reciting verses from the Bible to Batman. That would be a scene worth remembering. But, we’ll have to wait for 18th March to see it happen with our own eyes. Because that’s when the Justice League Snyder Cut hits HBO Max!
