Where did Moff Gideon hide Baby Yoda in ‘The Mandalorian’?
We are now one day away from the season finale of The Mandalorian. And the very loved Baby Yoda (Grogu) is in the clutches of Moff Gideon. But, we don’t know where exactly his location is in the galaxy in Episode 7, Chapter 15: The Believer. And Gideon is making sure it stays that way since he went through such great lengths to capture the child. Now, the roles are reversed and Gideon has to go on a run to keep his hold on Grogu. So, where exactly is he?
Where has Moff Gideon kept Baby Yoda?

When Moff Gideon was using his ship’s terminal, it did display his location for a brief moment. Now, there wasn’t any label that we can read. But, we can compare the map to previously shown maps in Star Wars canon movies and shows. The map does show that he is in the outer rim of the galaxy, where Tatooine and Tython are located. However, one fan theory suggests that the location is loosely close to planet Nal Hutta and its moon, Nar Shaddaa. This planet is located in a space in the galaxy called the Hutt Space, on the border of Mid Rim and Outer Rim. And by the name, you can guess that this is the place of the Hutts and their powerful underworld crime ring.
To get an idea of how Nar Shaddaa is, it’s a lot like Coruscant, just not at all civil. You can say that it’s the Coruscant of thugs and criminals. Now, what could Moff Gideon want from that Moon with regards to Baby Yoda, we’re not sure. With the Hutts losing power, it could be a good place for Gideon to hide and plot his schemes with Grogu in his clutches. Interestingly, this is the same planet where Leia got her first lightsaber and Han Solo ran into Boba Fett. And all this happened around the same time as The Mandalorian season 2. But, it looks unlikely for that to happen because by now, Ben Solo (Kylo Ren) should have been born too.
Where is Gideon taking Grogu?
However, what’s more important is to know where Moff Gideon is taking Baby Yoda. And there’s a chance that it could be Kamino. Yes, we’re talking about the home of cloning in the Star Wars galaxy. It could be that just like Palpatine and Count Duko wanted an entire army of clones, based on Django Fett, Moff Gideon could want an entire army of cloned Baby Yodas too. It could be the perfect and horrifying end to The Mandalorian season 2. We’ll know that for sure tomorrow!
