There is sad news for everybody who was all set to see Justin Timberlake perform at Madison Square Garden. He has had to call off the show at the last minute. But it’s probably the best for him as he announced he is suffering from severely bruised vocal cords. Although this NYC event has been postponed, Timberlake has promised fans to make up for it. But who knows if that will happen or not? Originally, this NYC event was supposed to be a make-up gig itself following the postponement of a March concert. So, well let’s see if there is going to be another one to compensate this time or not.

Justin Timberlake Is Injured

In an Instagram post on Wednesday afternoon, Justin Timberlake broke the news to his fans. He announced that he had to postpone the show on the doctor’s orders. The singer claimed that he had severely bruised vocal cords. And that he will compensate for it with a new show on his birthday- January 31st. He said that the was sorry to do this, but excited to see everybody again soon. According to records, Justin Timberlake performed in his usual fine manner at a gig two nights before. In fact, he successfully accomplished the usual two-hour, 26-song set.

Now that Monday’s show itself was make-up gig for a postponed show from March, the audience must have their doubts with the new promise. Timberlake’s spokesperson could not immediately be reached to comment on the scenario. So, there is no word on what will happen to the other dates of the tour. According to the initial records, Justin Timberlake has scheduled concerts for Sunday in Buffalo and Monday and Tuesday in Tacoma, Washington. The tour which was previously supposed to end on 29th January now has a new end date- 31st January. And that’s because of the make-up show for the cancelled gig in NYC.
