Julia Louis-Dreyfus Congratulates a real life “Veep”
Julia Louis-Dreyfus is no stranger to the corridors of power, at least on screen. And that is why she was one of the most eager ones to congratulate Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris on her election win.

After Kamala Harris’s historic win in the 2020 US Elections, Louis-Dreyfus rushed in to congratulate the Vice President-Elect. She tweeted from her Twitter account:
“Madam Vice President” is no longer a fictional character. @KamalaHarris

In many ways, Julia Louis-Dreyfus was congratulating the real-life ‘Veep’. As we all know, Louis-Dreyfus plays the role of Selina Meyer in HBO’s Veep, which has earned her 7 consecutive Emmy Award wins for the Best Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. Therefore, Harris getting elected meant especially a lot more to her.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus also played a part in the campaign
Moreover, Julia Louis-Dreyfus also played a part in helping the Democrats win. She teamed up with fellow Seinfeld star Jason Alexander and co-creator Larry David for an event “Fundraiser for Something,” whose purpose was to help Texas turn into a blue state. They weren’t successful in doing so, but they did then reveal their favorite Seinfeld episodes. Fair trade-off, am I right?
