Anderson Cooper Declares Trump an “Obese Turtle on his back flailing in the hot sun”
Mainstream media has now taken a very different stance on the outgoing President of the United States, Donald Trump. The best example of that is Anderson Cooper, who declared Trump to be an “Obese turtle”. Yes, he actually said that. Here’s what happened.
After a recent press briefing by President Donald Trump, where he falsely declared himself the winner of the 2020 US Elections. He also claimed that mail-in voting was “corrupt” and that he had a lead in so many states before they “miraculously” got “whittled away in secret”. Trump was basically claiming there were “illegal votes” cast in the election, without actually giving a shred of evidence.
However, CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper was having none of it. He gave a very moving monologue, saying:
It’s sad and it really is truly pathetic and of course, it’s dangerous and of course, it will go to courts. But you’ll notice the President did not have any evidence presented at all. Nothing. No real actual evidence of any kind of fraud. He talked about people putting up papers and windows. He talked about things he had seen on the internet.
Furthermore, Anderson Cooper also said how Trump will basically take down the country with him just because he can’t accept his defeat:
That is the President of the United States. That is the most powerful person in the world and we see him like an obese turtle on his back flailing in the hot sun, realizing his time is over. But he just hasn’t accepted it and he just wants to take everybody down with him including this country.
Anderson Cooper is not the only one in the media fed up with Donald Trump
A lot of other news anchors and media were also having none of it with Donald Trump. CBS and NBC went even further ahead than CNN. They literally stopped coverage of Donald Trump’s briefing and started fact-checking him, openly saying how he was lying through his teeth. That is undoubtedly a new low for the President of the United States.
As of right now, Joe Biden has been elected as the President of the United States. He has 279 confirmed electoral votes, compared to Trump’s 214, making him the President-Elect. But, Trump is still not taking a defeat with grace.
