Brad Pitt is one of the biggest actors we have in the movie industry at the time. He has acted in a variety of blockbuster movies, including the 2014 war film, “Fury,” starring opposite Shia LaBeouf. And although the film was well-received by fans and critics both, it was not an easy film to make. If you pair that with the on-set tension between Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf, it’s a recipe for disaster.
Shia LaBeouf is known to be quite an intense actor. After he rose to fame from his Disney Channel days, Shia moved on to doing more dramatic and high-profile films in Hollywood.
There is no secret that Shia wanted to make an impression with “Fury.” Maybe this is the reason he may have rubbed his fellow co-stars the wrong way. And unfortunately, Brad Pitt is one of them.
According to Ranker, Brad Pitt had an issue with Shia’s “energy” on the set of their film, even though he himself has not admitted to any beef with Shia.
However, Shia himself stated that there used to be a lot of tension on the set and he and his co-stars would quite often fight each other. According to CinemaBlend, he said that director, David Ayer would encourage the fist-fighting between them.
Brad Pitt has not spoken up about any beef with his co-actors. However, he has praised Shia LaBeouf’s acting commitment.
“Oh, I love this boy. He’s one of the best actors I’ve ever seen. He’s a full-on commitment, man, he’s living it like no one else, let me tell you. I’ve been fortunate to work with a lot of great actors. He’s one of the best I’ve seen.”
Shia LaBeouf Opens Up About Brad Pitt
Furthermore, while appearing on The Jimmy Kimmel Show, Shia LaBeouf opened up about what it was like on set.
He insisted that they all “love each other” and although it is normal to get mad, which they would, the tension would die as soon as they would leave.
It is kind of a unique way to talk about a group of really talented actors. However, it makes sense as the chemistry between the hugely talented ensemble could be picked upon easily in the trailer for the film. This leads us to think, maybe they are right about the tension dying as soon as they would leave set. Because as far as we can see, all these talented men have is love and admiration for each other.
