Last Thursday night Justin Bieber released a brand-new song featuring Benny Blanco titled Lonely. He shared the music video of the new song on his YouTube channel also in which 14 years old actor Jacob Tremblay played a younger version of the 26-year-old singer. Justin also said last Thursday on Twitter that listening to the song is particularly difficult for him.
He tweeted with the YouTube link to the music video attached:
“#Lonely is out now w @itsbennyblanco. To be honest the song is hard for me to listen to considering how tough it was to get through some of these chapters. I believe it is powerful to express vulnerability and that’s why I believe this song is so powerful”

Jacob, as the younger Bieber, sits all by himself in a large room, at the beginning of the music video, when someone comes and motions towards him. The young Justin then stands up to grab a hockey stick next to him. He walks stick-handling the tennis ball before passing it off and putting the stick down.
While walking out of the room and climbing the staircase, Justin sings:
“Cause I’ve had everything/But no one’s listening/And that’s just f***ing lonely.”
As the young Bieber walks to the stage, he sings, ‘Everybody knows my past now/Like a house made of glass/And maybe that’s the price you pay for the money and fame at an early age.’
While Jacob’s young Justin Bieber is seen getting ready for his performance, the adult Justin talks to those who saw him “sick” while he felt as if.
“no one gave a s**t* while criticizing everything I did as an idiot kid.”
And while Jacob walks out on the stage with no audiences to watch, Justin sings:
“if you’d had it all but nobody to call maybe then you’d know me.”
Jacob then starts singing the chorus in front of an empty arena. As the camera pulls back through the empty rows of the auditorium.
There is a person sitting on an aisle seat. As the camera moves backward up the aisles. The camera moves on and shows the adult Justin Bieber watching.
Benny also previously worked with Bieber for a 2015 hit from Justin’s album Purpose, “Love Yourself”. Justin’s “Holy” with Chance the Rapper also dropped last month. The pop star shared a snippet of the song, before its release, via Snapchat’s new music feature, Sounds.
