Songs to listen to when you vote in Elections 2020

0 362

US Elections 2020 are almost here and people are fully enthusiastic this time. In fact, people are breaking the early voting record by all means. The turnout is great this time even though many believed elections would be tough due to global pandemic. In case if you are still being a sloth and you have not voted yet, here is a collection of songs to boost your motivation and push you to vote. No, these are not national anthems. These are just the songs that put you into a good mood and might even lead you to turn your vote early. Remember, if you do not vote, you are not qualified to shade the election results later.

The awesome collection for US Elections 2020

These tracks might seem far fetched or illogical to be a part of the songs list for US Elections 2020. But every song has a reason behind it. (in my mind, of course)

Tuesday by Burak Yeter ft. Danelle Sandoval

The Us Elections 2020 are scheduled for Tuesday 3rd November, 2020. So, what better way to kick off your official voting playlist with a song that’s literally titled Tuesday. Burak Yeter is a Dutch-Turkish DJ/producer. And the song Tuesday features Danelle Sandoval. It’s basically a cover of Tuesday by ILoveMakonnen Ft. Drake. While the original song is pretty good on its own, the cover by Burak Yeter and Danelle Sandoval is dope.

Nightcall by Kavinsky

In case if you are driving around the city late at night and you are confused whether to vote blue or red, this is your song. Originally sung by the French electro house artist, Kavinsky, Nightcall is for the nightcrawlers. Even after 10 years since its release, this song still gives a demonic nightcall to many. Anyways, jokes apart, the song is pretty deep and have some interesting interpretations linked to it.

Just imagine not voting and going down the hill from there after the US Elections results 2020.

Demons by Joji

Elections 2020 is not a threat, I promise. And this song is just here because I love it. Sometimes you do not really need a solid reason to hear a song. Just go with the flow, hear it and check the next song in the list.

Baptize Me by X Ambassadors & Jacob Banks

The song Baptize me is from the album For The Throne. If you are not a Game of Thrones fan then you might not get the reference. Baptize me is about Theon Greyjoy, and it explains the time when Theon was held captive by Ramsey Bolton. It is kind of a redemption song. And probably it suits those better who voted during last elections and want to change their superhero this year.

Believer by Imagine Dragons

Thinking what has been going around in the US for quite some time now, the LGBTQ+ community needs hope, promise and fulfillment of a better future. Imagine Dragons came out with the song Believer that also spotlights their documentary on the LGBT community.

Don’t you tell me what you think that I could be
I’m the one at the sail
I’m the master of my sea

Don’t let anyone else dictate what you got to do. Just take control of your own vote, and do it.

Naked by James Arthur

Just a few days ago, the celebrities took the internet by storm when they started to pose n*de pictures of themselves. It was not a campaign to create a virtual n*dist community. In fact, it was their way to highlight the importance of every single vote and casting vote the right way. Be careful of nak*d ballots.

James Arthur’s song Naked has nothing to do with the elections 2020. But it can mean a lot if you consider your nak*d ballot singing to you.

That’s all for now. We might come up with another playlist till the elections day is here.
