You all know how long I’ve wanted this!!!!😭🥰 @darylsabara and I are so beyond happy and excited to meet this little cutie early next year! WE’RE PREGNANTTTTT!!! 🎁😍🥳
The Spy Kids alum and soon-to-be-dad also posted on his Instagram. “I love you @meghan_trainor and I can’t wait to start a family with you.”
The happy news came only two months before the couple is set to celebrate their second wedding anniversary. Meghan and Daryl tied the knot in December 2018 in an intimate ceremony on Meghan’s 25th birthday. She later told E! News, “Being a newlywed is amazing. I love it.”
Before the wedding, Meghan had shared the special way Daryl had proposed to her in 2017. The proposal came on her 24th birthday. “I freaked out. It was also my 24th birthday,” she shared. “He knows I’m obsessed with Christmas lights and that was literally a tunnel of Christmas lights and my entire family is hiding in the bushes over there and he did it perfectly, everything I ever wanted in life.”
She added she kept screaming and yelling, “I’m a princess!” the entire night.
Will Meghan Still Coach On The Voice?
Fans of The Voice UK need not worry. Since Meghan is a coach on the show, her pregnancy can mean a few things for the show’s future. She will be joining virtually from her home in Los Angeles. These virtual episodes of the show will then air sometime in October on ITV.
However, being pregnant means Meghan Trainor will not be returning for Series 10 of The Voice UK which is set to air in 2021. By this time, Meghan will be too busy preparing for life as a new mommy.
“I had such a great time being a coach on the Voice UK and spending time with everyone! I wish I could come back for Season 10. But I’m taking time to start my family and want to be really safe with the current travel restrictions,” Meghan explained. “I’ll be missing you all very much and hope to see you soon!”
A new judge to replace Meghan is due to be named soon.
