Emily Ratajkowski’s allegations against Jonathan Leder
The news of her upcoming book comes after the activist wrote a strong magazine essay last month. In which she alleged that she was s*xually assaulted by a photographer during a n*de shoot at his home in the Catskills in 2012.
The book, My Body, will be an enlargement of her overwhelmingly personal essay. (Written for The Cut last month Buying Myself Back.) Where she alleged photographer Jonathan Leder of assault.
Receiving numerous headlines, the essay narrated her experience. After an unpaid magazine shoot at Leder’s home arranged by her agent at the time.
She shared that while they were sitting on his couch. Leder put his ‘fingers inside of her’ without her consent. When The Cut questioned Leder about the allegations. He denied them stating that what was said was ‘too tawdry and childish to respond to’.
Talking about Emily’s topless and n*de shoots that she has done over the years. Since he has worked with her, Leder explained:
“You do know who we are talking about right? This is the girl that was naked in Treats! magazine and bounced around naked in the Robin Thicke video at that time. You really want someone to believe she was a victim?”
In a conversation with the DailyMail.com. Leder claimed that Emile’s allegations about him were “totally false.”
An admired Ratajkowski!
Even though Leder has always denied the allegations. Emily managed to gather support from friends and fans. For coming out to share her story and showing her strength. The publisher of Emily’s upcoming book, Sara Bershtel, said:
“Emily Ratajkowski reveals herself to be devastatingly honest, nuanced, and strong – I’m not surprised that she thinks of herself first as a writer. I also admire how outspoken she is, how political, and how unafraid – what a force she’ll be!”
