Jenelle Evans Hospitalized
Just when we thought that feminist movements were progressing, there’s an another assault case to the list. Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans was sent to the hospital over the weekend. And apparently, there was an alleged assault incident at her home. But now that the representatives for Jenelle Evans are denying even though the police authorities have confirmed it themselves. By the looks of it, these assault cases will never stop springing up. And maybe #MeToo and #TimesUp still have more than just a lot to achieve before we consider them successful.
What Really Happened?
According to the chief of 911 operations for Columbus County, North Carolina, someone from the house of Jenelle Evans called the police. On October 13th, two police officers responded to a call placed by a female who called in as an assault. Initially, they requested for an ambulance. But later, it was cancelled and the female was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle. However, a spokesperson for the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office confirms that no incident report was filed. Before she was hospitalized, no arrests were made and she refused to register a complaint.
Representatives for Jenelle Evans have presented a whole other picture behind the actress being hospitalized. Apparently there was a bonfire at her property on Saturday night and all the friends were over. Jenelle Evans tripped over and fell by the fire. And that led to the actress being hospitalized in an emergency. Assault is nowhere to be mentioned in this claim. For further updates, MTV was contacted by PEOPLE to comment, but the request has not been responded to yet. However, reports suggest that Jenelle Evans was not filming when this tragic incident happened with the star. No team, cast or crew members were present at the spot when this happened.
To begin with, the assault news was first broken by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup. The report says Jenelle Evans had a domestic fight with her husband. That led to the hospital trip.
However, an update to the story occurred when Jenelle Evans herself came out and spoke up about it. She denies being a victim of domestic violence.
