Ryan Dorsey comments on dating Sister-in-law following his wife’s death

Ryan was married to the Glee star, Naya Rivera, for almost five years. The couple separated their ways in 2018, starting a custody battle for their son Josey. Naya got the sole custody in March 2020 but her accidental death, in the presence of Josey, in July transferred the custody to Ryan. In his video, Ryan Dorsey confessed that his family has been more than supportive in these trying times.

I think to myself how lucky I am to still have my mom and still have her help out in my life still.

Additionally, Naya’s sister, Nickayla also moved in with him to help with the son, raising speculations that the two might be in a relationship.

Ryan denied all such allegations.

I wish I was worried about a relationship right now.

He thanked Nickayla for being there when his son needed a family.

To have a young woman who is his blood, his Titi, who is willing to put her life on hold and sacrifice things, uproot her situation for the betterment of your child.

Ryan Dorsey also added that her company makes it easier for him to deal with life right now.

At least you have someone there with you to talk to or just sit in silence and be sad with. You don’t have to deal with being completely alone.

Dorsey also talked about his dismay over how inconsiderate people can be when posting and commenting on social media. Nickayla called out these haters as well.

What matters most I’ve learned, is to show compassion, not to judge others, & never take a moment of life for granted. I hope you all do the same.

We wish Ryan and his family speedy healing from their immense grief.
