Ezra Miller ‘s The Flash Movie Sees Yet Another Delay
The latest cinematic reports state that The Flash movie is not coming out anytime soon. Warner Bros. is not yet ready to start the filming of the standalone Ezra Miller’s Flash movie. Though the initial schedule called for shooting to begin in March 2019.
Fantastic Beasts Won’t Let The Flash Movie Happen
Warner Bros. Studio wants Miller to complete the third Fantastic Beasts movie first. And, this has become a reason for an uncalled postponement. This Fantastic Beast Film stands third in the Harry Potter sequel. Ezra Miller is playing a significant supporting character in the series. And Warner Bros are all set to start shooting of Fantastic Beast in July 2019.
The Flash movie was all set to start the shooting in 2019. However, the proceedings have come to halt because of its scrawny script. Hence the studio decided to commence the shooting of Flash in late 2019. This has thus suspended the potential release date for 2021.
Ezra’s Long Road For A Solo Debut
Ezra Miller has previously acted as ‘The Flash’ in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad. He later became a noted ‘Justice League’ member. Unfortunately, it seems that Miller will probably have to wait another three years to see himself in a solo superhero adaptation.
The movie has encountered several holdups either because of director issues or for the script’s loose ends. The pitching of a new script is still in progress. The Scarlet Speedster’s solo movie will probably begin filming in February 2019. And, it will take 3 months to complete the project. This Warner Bros. superhero film is looking for a fresh director to wheel the project. The first director Set Grahame-Smith left the project and Rick Famuyiwa walked in as his replacement. However, he too called quits because of creative differences between the director and Studio. Eventually, John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are appointed as the directors and the film that initially expected to be released in 2020 is now pushed for 2021.
Plans Will See The Light Of The Day
It is quite obvious that Warner Bros focuses more on the wizardly atmosphere like Fantastic Beast and the DC Comic adaptations are thought to be risky for the pocket another fact is that The Flash dates would clash with the third Fantastic Beasts movie schedule, which is due for release in 2020. Yet course, Ezra Miller is part of both movies, therefore, one film has to compromise over the other. Another reason that surfaces this delay is the truncated box office collections of Justice League which convince Warner Bros. to delay the plans of DC heroes adaptations.
