Jim Parsons comments on doing Gay Roles – Plays one in new Netflix Movie

When the star came out, he said his greatest concern was that he would only be able to play gay parts. A few months before this new Netflix Movie, Jim Parsons uses these words;

I do think I was afraid of not being able to play anything but gay parts, not only if I came out, but because I would appear effeminate. The irony is I think I discovered, obviously, how to let the fear go… ‘People behave in all sorts of ways. I am who I say I am when I take on this role.’ That’s the bottom line.

It seems that Little Shelly Cooper has embraced his true self. With the release of Jim Parsons’s new Netflix movie, we know one thing is for sure, we will all be seeing a new side to the man.
