Netflix Cancels Marvel’s Iron Fist Season 3
Just after the first two seasons, Netflix has cancelled the season 3 for Iron Fist. Marvel Studios and Netflix both announced that the series won’t be returning for season 3. But the reasons behind this decision are still kept unknown from the audience. Fans are definitely not in for a great time!
Why Is Netflix Cancelling ‘Iron Fist’?
Netflix and Marvel Television released a statement saying that Iron Fist will not be coming back with season 3. And that everyone at Marvel and Netflix is proud of of the series and is grateful for all the hard work and efforts that the cast and crew invested into Iron Fist. The statement further read that it was thankful to fans who watched the first two seasons. And also, for the partnership that Netflix and Marvel shared for Iron Fist. Lastly, it concluded by saying that even when the series was no longer going to be on Netflix, the immortal Iron Fist will live on.
Iron Fist was set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and starred Finn Jones in the lead role. Previously, when the show premiered it became the most-watched drama on Netflix. However, in 2017 it settled to disturbing mixed reviews with critics pointing out the lack of originality and spark in the show. As the second season came on, people quickly realized that it was improved. Reviews became more favorable gradually but unfortunately, that was not enough to revive the series for season 3. And it’s evident that when compared to other Marvel shows at Netflix, this series failed. Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Daredevil from Marvel got much better fates.
How Are Fans Reacting?

Never thought I'd be disappointed to see #IronFist cancelled, but I quite enjoyed season 2 and there was interesting stuff promised for season 3. Shame.
