There is not much time left before season 5 of The Flash hit our screens. Practically everyone has been talking about the big surprises this season may bring. The show which had a precocious breakthrough on CW had its quality deteriorated in its 3rd and 4th innings. But the massive hype around the show’s fifth innings has gotten fans optimistic about the brand’s future. Not repeating its mistakes, the show will have a more linear connection with its comic, and will hopefully incorporate abstract themes into the storyline rather than improvising its own fables.

A lot of Action

First of all, season 5 of The Flash will open up with an energy-packed action sequence. It’s drawn directly from the comics. Everything about the scene, from its spectacular visuals to its narrative effect will surpass the aspects of everything that we have seen in the past. There will be additional supernatural forces, and the level of Barry’s powers will up their game on a major scale.

Gustin himself expressed his excitement as he said:

“I’m really excited about it because I know our visual effects guys are going to kill it, and what we shot was awesome.  So it’s something that I’ve been wanting, and that I know some fans have been wanting for a long time. So we’re doing a couple cool things.”

While Gustin remained tight-lipped about the backdrop of the particular sequence. We hope that this scenario will be strongly tied up with season 5 of The Flash new speedster bad guy, Cacadia. Cacs can do more than just speeding up, in fact, he can also steal the life force of people by simply touching them. Now that’s evil. The vitriolic figure will aim at giving all those whom Flash has saved, a deadly fate. And, perhaps he will break the hell loose by killing off a significant character on the show.

More About Nora!

The upcoming season will also have a lot to do with Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy). Nora will possibly try to salvage her parents’ relationship in this season. Nora’s gestures made it clear that in the future, Iris and Barry will not exactly be a ‘perfect’ couple and there is a high probability that she will try to change this.

Apart from this, there is something uncanny about either one of Catilin, Harry or Nora. Nora’s eerie prophecies in the coffee shop hint towards something going wrong between Harry and Catilin. though it will happen in the future. From the coffee shop scene, either one of the three can be seen to become an antagonist of the future. We can also safely assume that neither of them will die anytime soon. A clear evidence for that is Nora was a tangible sentimental connect with both of her grandparents, which implies that she was raised under their care.

We’ll have Superman!

Season 5 The Flash will include Superman, with Tyler Hoechlin reprising the role. And he won’t be returning alone, as the crossover event will see the show’s debut of Lois Lane. The crossover will also mark the first appearance of Batwoman (Ruby Rose). A few new entries will also rekindle the ‘family’ aspect in Flash. Caitlin Snow’s (Danielle Panabaker) father will be joining team Flash in the coming episodes. Though Caitlin will seek his help only after she has spoken to her mother. He will be essential in describing the way Caitlin is. He will dawn upon the origins of Killer Frost. And will possess mysterious shades that will gradually unfold with the course of the show.
