The song was written by Troye Sivan and Oscar Görres aka OzGo. Oscar Görres also producer the new music track. Previously, the two have collaborated on Troye’s song ‘Take Yourself Home’.

The music video was directed by Troye Sivan himself who definitely did justice to the song with his haunting portrayal of heartache.

His new EP is a personal story

The fourth EP that Troye Sivan is about to release is going to something close to the musician. He explains it as a ‘story that’s still unfolding’. Moreover, he shares that it explains his own emotional journey:

“This small collection of songs explores an emotional rollercoaster period in my life when the feelings and thoughts were most shockingly fresh. Revisiting these songs and moments is tough, but I’m proud of this music and excited to have it out in the world.”

The EP ‘In a Dream’ is going to be released to the public this August on the 21st. It is going to be released via Universal Music Australia.

This is going to be his first EP after his ‘Wild’ EP in 2015. Since then Troye Sivan has released two studio albums which received a lot of positive reviews: ‘Bloom’ and ‘Blue Neighborhood’. During his music career, he has also collaborated with other singers and artists such as BTS, Lauv and Charli XCX.
