Kanye West Drops Out Of The 2020 Presidential Race, Burger King Reacts
After a lot of hype on social media, and a lot of memes, rumors are circling that Kanye West has dropped out of the 2020 Presidential Race. It feels like it ended almost as soon as it started. Moreover, Burger King also had something to say about Kanye’s bid for the White House.
Rumors from Kanye West’s campaign
On Tuesday (July 14th), a member of Kanye’s campaign team, Steve Kramer, told the Intelligencer that the famous rapper is withdrawing his name from the 2020 Presidential Race. This is after he got together a 180-member campaign team for Florida.
Kramer clearly said that “he’s out,” and that all the plans for the campaign are canceled. Moreover, Kramer told the news outlet that:
I have nothing good or bad to say about Kanye… Any candidate running for president for the first time goes through these hiccups.
Reports suggested that Kanye West tried to get his name on the ballot in Florida. However, for that, he had to gather 132,781 signatures from the Sunshine State to be eligible for a run from the state.
If this news is correct, then Kanye West’s run for the White House lasted a total of 11 days. But, it shouldn’t be surprising, considering that we were just four months away from the 2020 Presidential Elections themselves. However, that was not going to stop the internet from reacting to this news. And Burger King had somethings to say as well.
Burger King reacts
Kanye’s campaign was already a subject of a lot of memes. But, with the campaign’s alleged end being just as absurd as it starts, Burger King decided to have a say on the matter too. The official handle of Burger King UK tweeted that:
We’ve run offers that lasted longer than his campaign

However, Burger King did find a silver lining out of Kanye West’s failed campaign, saying that:

Even after all the memes and banter, the current confirmed news suggests that Kanye West is still going ahead with his Presidential bid. Despite these rumors, Kanye still filed his official documents and began the process for the candidacy. Let’s see when Kanye officially calls it off, or even if he does so or not.
