Usually, we’re accustomed to seeing Brad Pitt in thriller, drama, or even sci-fi. But, it looks like we’re about to get a taste of him in an action-heavy role.

The script of Bullet Train, written by Zak Olkewicz, is based on Japanese novel Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka. And it is action-packed, to say the least! Something that Pitt isn’t used to working in. In the novel, there are five assassins on a fast-moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka. There will only be a few stops along the way, but those assassins find out that their missions are somewhat related to each others’. So, the question remains that who will come off the train alive?

This isn’t a typical Brad Pitt movie, but it does look like one that he will thoroughly enjoy with an engaging plot. After his Oscar-winning performance in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, he is in more demand than ever. Surely he must have many projects in mind, but this is what he has signed up for right now.

Moreover, with David Leitch’s name attached to the film, it spells more good news for Bullet Train. The director has previously worked in John Wick, Deadpool 1 & 2, and many other films, making him a reliable name for an action-packed film. Therefore, we can keep our hopes high for Bullet Train. Let’s hope that Brad Pitt has a good time trying out a new genre after so much experience! This story was reported by Deadline.
