Former Glee actress, Naya Rivera, was declared missing in a boating incident on July 8, 2020. Her son, Josey, was found sleeping in the boat. The search for Naya was on since then and the search team found a body yesterday. In a news conference by Venture Co. Sheriff, it was confirmed that the body found is of Naya Rivera. If you have been following Glee cast and their life, you might know that Glee curse is believed to have an unknown curse.
The Glee Curse
Many fans reject the idea of the Glee Curse. However, no one can deny that the Glee cast has faced many tragic deaths by now. While people were still looking for Naya Rivera after she was confirmed missing, many fans couldn’t believe that all of this was happening to another Glee member.

The quarterback role of Finn Hudson was played by Cory Monteith in Glee. He had struggled with substance abuse during his life. Even though he tried drug rehabilitation at age 19, and tried addiction treatment in March, 2013, the nature had other plans for him.
On July 13, 2013, Cory Monteith was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room. Reason for death was confirmed as fatal combination of heroin and alcohol. What seems to be a shocking coincidence is, Naya Rivera’s body was found on Cory’s 7th death anniversary.
Lea Michele was dating Cory Monteith at that time. She also paid tribute to him in Glee season 5.
After 5 years, another tragedy happened. Mark Salling, who played the role of Noah Puckerman, was found hanging by a tree near his home in California. He committed suicide on January 30, 2018.
Mark Salling was going through anxiety and depression. He was arrested in 2015 owing to possession of child pornography. In 2017, Mark pleaded guilty. He was waiting to be sentenced for upto 7 years. However, six weeks before his sentence, Mark committed suicide.
Naya Rivera dated Mark Salling for some time. However, she was not surprised when Salling was arrested for possession of child pornography. In fact, she had said:
I had no doubt that God really did have my back along the way.
