Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito Will Do Marvel Movies Next?
The past few years have put Giancarlo Esposito as one of the best antagonists around there. Known for playing Gustavo Fring in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul and Moff Gideon in Star War’s The Mandalorian, Esposito wants to find his way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well.
Giancarlo Esposito eyes Marvel move
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Esposito addressed rumors that whether he was set to feature in a Marvel movie or not:
Well, there’s been all these rumors about being with Marvel, I want to work with those guys.
Even though there isn’t any truth to those rumors, Giancarlo Esposito wants to work with Marvel. He further said:
I put it out there all the time. I haven’t created any of those rumors, but I worked years ago with Louis D’Esposito, who’s one of the guys at Marvel, back when he was doing Cotton Club and I was doing Cotton Club, he was the First A.D. What they do is fantastic, and I want to do something enduring with them… I think the Marvel world would be, likely, the next step for me.
Perfect fit for the MCU?
Giancarlo Esposito flirts with the MCU with an impressive CV. He has been a part of multiple high-profile projects. One of them is the infamous antagonist Gustavo Fring in both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, which will air its final season next year. Other than that, he plays Moff Gideon in the Disney+ exclusive The Mandalorian and is set to have a much more prominent role in season 2 of the series. Moreover, in the upcoming Far Cry 6 video game, he will again portray another antagonist, as Anton Castillo. With such a strong Resume, it’s not surprising to see Esposito becoming a part of the MCU. Adding to that, he is optimistic about it as well. Sadly, we are yet to hear a word from Marvel and Disney.
