Cyberpunk 2077 Will Be Playable In PS5 And PS4
Game developers CD Projekt Red might have delayed the release of their biggest game Cyberpunk 2077 once more, but there is still some good news. Now coming out in November, Cyberpunk 2077 will be playable in PS4 and PS5, both. This is thanks to the backward compatibility by the next generation gaming console. However, is that a good reason to buy either of the two things? If not, then hear this: the developers will send out updates to the game which will improve its visuals for PlayStation 5.
Cyberpunk 2077 PS4 CD Will Work On New Console
Although Cyberpunk 2077 is currently set for release on PS4, there is reason to believe that will not run on PlayStation 5. Similarly, the Xbox One version will also run on Xbox Series X console.
Moreover, Thanks to the Microsoft Smart Delivery system, the Xbox One players will be able to receive an Xbox Series X version for free. However, a similar offer is yet to be released by Sony. Here is what the game had said:
“We are happpy to confirm that Cyberpunk 2077 will be backwards compatible with both next-gen consoles! Your PS4 copy of the game will work on PS5 on launch day. Anyone who buys the game on Xbox One will be able to play their copy on Xbox Series X when the console launches too!”
For the people playing on PS, the game will receive visual updates for the next generation console. For now, there is not much knowledge about the latest Sony console that is going to hit the market soon. With price and release date yet to be revealed, reports claim that this model will outsell Microsoft’s by a good margin as well.
Is there are reason to believe that because of how much Cyberpunk 2077 is offering on Microsoft console, the game will attract influence sales of Sony’s console? What do you guys think about it?
