Sarah Jessica Parker Shares Message About “Long Overdue Change”
Following the tragic death of George Floyd, many celebrities have shown their support. Whether it’s by going out in the streets or through supporting the Black Lives Matter movement by donating to the cause. Almost all of our A-listers have been fighting on the front lines. One of these celebrities is Sarah Jessica Parker.
However, Sarah Jessica Parker is using her platform to call out for change. She took to social media to show her support for the Black Lives Matter movement after George Floyd’s funeral.
“Today Mr. Floyd is laid to rest. However, this historic march toward justice and equality, this unstoppable movement in his name and countless others’ is alive and its collective heartbeat is far stronger than the fear that resists this inevitable and long overdue change. X, SJ,” her post on Instagram read.
Sarah Jessica Parker also shared some emotionally moving photos from the Black Lives Matter protests happening nationwide after George Floyd lost his life at the hands of racist murderers. Her post was met with much appreciation and encouragement from her followers.

Sarah Jessica Parker Pays Tribute To The Late George Floyd
However, this is not the first time Sarah Jessica Parker has spoken up about the injustice. Two days after the murder of George Floyd, she took to Instagram to share an image of a memorial made in the late 46-year old’s honor and mourners surrounding it.
Sarah captioned the picture,
“Grief. Agony. Heartache. Sorrow. Justice. Please RIP Mr. Floyd.”
It’s refreshing to see celebrities realizing what power they hold and using it for good. Sarah Jessica Parker is doing the right thing by calling out for some long-overdue change.
