One Direction is probably preparing for its 10-year Anniversary Reunion by now. The boys, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne are setting up to give their fans what they’ve wanted since their 2015 hiatus. And oh boy, are we ready. However, just as we know that Zayn Malik is not a part of this comeback, what are some things we can expect from the reunion? Based on their experiences as solo artists over the last few years, here is what we can expect from this long-overdue reunion.
5 Things we can expect from the One Direction Reunion.
1) Their voices – much powerful than before – will cause a change in the typical arrangement.
As the One Direction boys have grown quite a bit as solo artists, the Reunion will cause their vocal assignments to change. For example, we know that Niall Horan has always had one of the sweetest voices ever, but his voice has actually matured so much in these years. So, you will hear some pretty amazing vocals from him. Harry Styles has always been known to be the one to hit the high notes, especially after Zayn Malik left the band. So, a lot of the bridges might be his. Louis and Liam only have a slight pitch frequency change so we’d love to hear how their voices go together now.
2) It will be produced with the boys not together.
As Liam Payne has mentioned before, the boys were talking about the reunion through a WhatsApp group. So, they are not in the same place obviously during the COVID-19 Coronavirus (SARS-CoV2) pandemic. The production of the One Direction Reunion might be a lot in the way Liam produced his Midnight track with Alesso. That should be fun to see happen.
3) Enhanced personal styles.
We remember the boys mostly wearing t-shirts and pants and nothing too much. Their styles were very down-to-earth. And we loved that. But speaking for reals, it would seem that we’re not going to get our boys in the One Direction typical look at the Reunion. As all members now have developed an individual style preference.
4) The music will be different.
If some of you remember, Zayn Malik gave the fact that they are always told to make music a certain way as one of the reasons he did not feel connected to the band. He even went as far as to say that the music did not change with their age. So, now, with the fact that the fan base is much older and so are the members, the music produced in the Reunion by One Direction will be different.
5) There MIGHT not be music at all.
Due to the current world conditions, the boys may not produce music at all. The Coronavirus Pandemic, the BLM protests, and the political situations around. We know Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan are all supporting the BLM protests. So, there is a huge chance that we may see something like the 1D Day (23rd November 2013). A few hours long live stream will be the way they spend the One Direction Reunion. Well, obviously throwing in a couple of their song covers, etc.
