George Floyd’s Daughter Is Now A Disney Shareholder
After the much-needed Black Lives Matter protests, people also started thinking about what would happen to George Floyd’s family. Well, it seems like people have got them covered as well. Just days after Gianna Floyd, daughter, received a full scholarship from Texas Southern University, and Kanye West gave college funds, more news has come. Now, Barbra Streisand has come forward to show her love towards the Floyd family. She awarded a piece of Disney to the daughter. In a post by Gianna, the young daughter announced that thanks to Streisand, she is now officially a Disney Stockholder.
George Floyd’s Has A Part Of Disney
George Floyd’s daughter got a care package from the singer. This not only included documents for Disney’s stocks, but also two of Barbra’s albums: 1965’s My Name Is Barbra and 1966’s Color Me Barbra. Gianna did not mention how many shares did she get from the singer, neither is there any official word on it. However, upon research, it is discovered that Disney’s stocks currently value at $115 each and will likely increase as the United States move towards easing the lockdown.

The received numerous likes and well-wishes from people. Her recent Instagram account spiked regarding followers as people discovered her and her posts regarding police brutality and racism. For now, she mainly posts memories with her father.
George Floyd died due to suffocation after a Minneapolis policeman kneeled on his neck for more than nine minutes while trying to arrest him. the video footage clearly shows Floyd begging for air as he could not breathe. Since then, the term ‘I Can’t Breathe’ gained much popularity during the riots and protests that followed against racism and police brutality.
