It might be coming in 2021, but it is finally happening. Resident Evil 8: Village is finally coming, revealed during the PS5 Future of Gaming showcase. The game is also set for release on Xbox Series X and PC. There are going to be werewolves in this game, Chris and Ethan! Resident Evil released the full trailer and it looks as intense as the last one. Capcom’s Kellen Haney looks hopeful of great experience through PS5’s latest gaming tech. “The team behind Resident Evil Village is using its expertise with Capcom’s in-house RE Engine to bring a truly next-generation survival-horror experience to PS5”.

Fans Love The New Resident Evil 8 Trailer

Thanks to PlayStation 5 and the brand new environment it is bringing to the world, Resident Evil 8 will be one of the first games to utilize the potential of the new gaming console. Speaking about the game, Haney continued:

“Each encounter is a personal fight for survival against terrifying foes, forcing you to keep a watchful eye on the environment and constantly looking for resources and enemies in unknown territory. With a greater focus on combat and exploration compared to Resident Evil 7, the village itself is just as important a character as any other, a location with a life of its own that will frequently keep you on edge as you discover its secrets.”

Here is a look at how the game will feel like when running on the new console:

By the time the new game Resident Evil 8 will release, it would have been 4 years since its last one, Biohazard. It links the story with the couple, Mia and Ethan, from 7. The story is taking place after the events of BioHazard, and here the two seem to be living a happy life. This is until an old friend comes and Ethan’s world collapses. What happens to him, we see in the trailer. To find out the details, we will have to wait till January 2021!
