Here Is How Barton Is The Most Valuable Character In Avengers
A new study in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has revealed that it is Hawkeye, aka Barton, who is the most valuable character in the Avenger series. However, it is far from what you all are suspecting. You see, instead of being valuable in the sense of either being the strongest character in the Avengers or the brainiest one, this is different. Hawkeye is valuable because he starred in the most successful Marvel movies released to date. The 23 movies were measured by the return on investment and critic score. And after combining figures from production budgets, box office earnings, IMDB scores, and other awards and nominations, Barton stood on top.
Hawkeye The Most Valuable But So Is Black Panther?
The studies also reveal that it is actually Black Panther who won the most award nominations. However, it ranks in ninth place in this study’s value determination. The study further claimed:
“Hawkeye has appeared in six MCU instalments to date, claiming an average ROI of 5.3 per film. In comparison, each film that features Thor has an average ROI of 5.06, Captain America has an ROI of 4.9, and Iron Man has an average ROI of 4.8 per appearance. The detailed analysis shows that Black Panther remains the best Marvel installment to date thanks to its high box office sum and critical acclaim, while The Incredible Hulk was met with the least financial and critical success overall.”
Interestingly, Spider-Man: Far From Home holds the highest return on investment, with a $160 million budget, and earned $1.128 billion at the box office worldwide. In simpler terms, that is a huge 7.05 ROI score. Even Avengers: Endgame had a 6.99 score due to its $400 million budget.
Hawkeye’s appearance in 5 movies including Infinity Wars, where he was only mentioned has earned him the title of most valuable character. These titles have a combined average ROI of 5.3.
The top 10 characters are Hawkeye, Star-Lord, Black Widow, Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Nick Fury, Hulk, Black Panther, and Doctor Strange.
