Peaky Blinders Season 6 – Everything You Need To Know

0 354

Despite the dark twist that we saw in the previous season, Peaky Blinders season 6 is definitely happening. While we were happy to accept new faces in series, such as that of Sam Claflin as Oswald Moseley, we also had to say goodbye to some older ones, like Aidan Gillen as Aberama Gold. The show keeps winning awards, the recent one being the National Television Award for Best Drama. It is clear that it is going to run for a couple more seasons before it ends. Hence, let’s look at what we know about the upcoming season so far.

Peaky Blinders Season 6 Release Date

Unfortunately, like most of the upcoming television shows and movies, Peaky Blinder season 6 also received a hit by coronavirus lockdown. Director Anthony Byrne said that they were about to start filming for season 6 when they had to shut down.

“Sets were built, costumes were made. Cameras and lenses tested. Locations were booked. All the prep was done. It’s a real shame not to be able to make it for you at this time.”

The director did say that season 6 might release in early 2021.

How Many Episodes?

Since all five previous seasons had six episodes in total, there is no doubt that season 6 will also carry the same number. The first episode is called Black Day.

Any Celebrity Cameos?

Knight confirmed that Stephen Graham will appear in Peaky Blinders season 6. The director confirmed that since the next two seasons will be the last of the series, he is going to relax and open gates for worthy cameos in the coming seasons.

“But I think now we’re coming to the final two series, I’m going to relax and open the gates a bit because there’s some amazing people who want to be in it, and I think why not.”

When Can We Watch The Trailer?

Usually, trailers are released a month before the premiere date. Since that date is not here, then there is no telling when Peaky Blinders season 6 trailer would be here.

However, we must expect the return of Cillian Murphy, Helen McCrory, Paul Anderson, Finn Cole, Sophie Rundle, Natasha O’Keeffe, Harry Kirton, Packy Lee, Jordan Bolger, Charlie Murphy, and Emmett J Scanlan.
