The World Health Organization confirms that there is a second Ebola virus outbreak reported in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Wangata health zone, Mbandaka, in Equateur province has reported four dead while two more affected as the virus reemerged after almost diminishing. The Ebola virus in Congo was in its final phase when it has suddenly reemerged. The country is now simultaneously battling COVID-19 and the world’s largest measles outbreak.

This news comes in June, people were already expecting something tragic to occur for the coming month and it seems like we know what it is.

Six Ebola Virus Cases With More Expected

Initial information released by the Ministry of Health state that there are six Ebola virus cases so far. Four of which have already died, but two are alive and taken under care. There is a possibility that this will spread now and so the disease is now under surveillance as activities increase to curb it back down. The Director-General WHO Dr. Tedros Adhanom G has reminded people that the coronavirus is not the only disease a threat to the human population right now.

The Regional director WHO, Dr. Matshidiso Moeti told:

“It’s happening at a challenging time, but WHO has worked over the last two years with health authorities, Africa CDC and other partners to strengthen national capacity to respond to outbreaks. To reinforce local leadership, WHO plans to send a team to support scaling up the response. Given the proximity of this new outbreak to busy transport routes and vulnerable neighbouring countries we must act quickly.”

What Is The Current World Trend?

As per a Twitter user, the following is what has happened in the world ever since the year 2020 started. January 2020 started with massive forest fires in Australia, the likes of which the country has almost never seen. Next in February, the world stood at the ‘edge of’ peace as tensions between the United States and China went high. People called it World War 3. Now, from April to May, the new coronavirus has taken over as a pandemic. The Epicentre traveled from China to Italy to the States. Now it seems like June is for Ebola virus part 2. Check this out:
