It seems like fans soon will have another reason to obsess over Noah Centineo and Lana Condor. Ever since Netflix’s romantic comedy To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before became an absolute hit, these stars became famous overnight. And after it ended, fans started hoping for a sequel. It seems like the dreams are coming true. But nothing is confirmed yet. If it works, we might get to see Lana Condor and Noah Centineo on the screens together again. It definitely seems like a lot of things are suggesting the possibility of a sequel.
Will Lana Condor And Noah Centineo Return?
Out of many things that resulted from fan obsessions with To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, one popular one might be a petition. As absurd as it may seem, fans created an online petition asking Netflix to order a sequel to it. Not just that, but almost 8,000 people already signed it. However, fans have also requested that Israel Broussard who played Josh should be reconsidered as his controversial tweets resurfaced. Even when he is apologized, many people want a recast for his role. And mostly, everybody needs a sequel just so they can enjoy the hit couple- Noah Centineo and Lana Condor back on the screen together.
Whether Netflix has ordered a sequel P.s. I Still Love You or not is still a debatable question. Nothing has been officially confirmed, TATBILB’s director, Susan Johnson said that Netflix usually waits for a month after a release to see if another movie should be introduced or not. Generally, the time frame is 28 days. But since To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before was a major favorite right as it came out, the chances of a sequel look pretty good. The writer, Jenny Han who wrote the first book is herself thrilled at the chances of a sequel. She said that she would love it. And if more people wanted it to happen, she wants to be able to give them more.
What’s even more exciting is that our favorite cast members- Noah Centineo and Lana Condor are all in for a sequel. Susan Johnson confirmed this saying that all of them want it to happen before they get too old. And preferably before they are in their thirties. Lana Condor and Noah Centineo were in fact igniting the movement for a possible sequel. In an Instagram post, Noah shared a certain scene from the first movie. And Lana posted the same one.
So, for now, there is no more update on this. But let’s keep praying. And maybe the power couple takes the screen again!
